About Me:
I have been drawn to the City of Baltimore since I was a little girl. My first visit was in 7th grade and my second was my first choice college, UMBC. After graduation and living in Canton for several years, I tried to get away and lived in DC and Philadelphia. Three short years later, I found myself back in Baltimore to stay.
I have always been an active member in the communities I have lived. My past and present community involvement includes:
Active: Member of the Junior League of Baltimore since 2010 (with a focus on combatting childhood obesity in urban areas) and volunteer for Ronald McDonald House, Ulman Foundation, and Marathon Kids.
Formerly: Volunteered for Homeless Advocacy Project and Philadelphia Reads; member of Dechert LLP and Baker Botts, LLP Pro Bono Committee; Volunteered for D.C. Legal Clinic for Homeless; Assistant Coach for inner city running program "Girls on the Run."
City Lab and the Jonestown revitalization project really excites me because the better Baltimore is, the better it is for all of us. Going to college here and now starting my family here, I am passionate about making my new HOME a better place to live for everyone.
